The film takes place in Tunisia, a few weeks before the fall of Ben Ali, where three boys and a girl attempt to live and survive in a society increasingly oppressive and unequal. Moha is a talented musician who dreams of fame. Walid a handsome young man who tries to take advantage of the system although he despises it. Fathi is the idealist among them, whose dream is to acquire a teaching post, and ends up falling in love with Noura, an internet activist. ​The four individuals meet and their paths cross during the uprising, a period in Tunisian history where everyone’s life was impacted. As the tension intensifies days before the uprising, police monitor the internet and the movement of internet activists. Noura is arrested by the secret police, interrogated, and assaulted in an office, before eventually getting released.
